Note: Tesamorelin is a peptide that is quite sensitive to environmental changes (especially temperature and solvent addition methods). To ensure smooth use of your product, we offer the following operational suggestions to effectively prevent recurrence of gelation:
1. Strict Low-Temperature Storage:
· Before reconstitution, ensure that both the peptide powder and your prepared *bacteriostatic water* are at a low temperature (best when freshly removed from the refrigerator). If the peptide powder is left at room temperature for too long, or if the solvent temperature is too high, structural changes can easily occur, leading to gelation.
2. Correct Solvent Selection:
· Please ensure that you are using bacteriostatic water, or strictly follow the solvent specified in the product instructions. Some batches are very sensitive to pH; using ordinary sterile water is not recommended, as it can easily cause gelation.
3. Slow Injection, Avoid Vigorous Shaking:
· When injecting the solvent, allow the liquid to flow slowly down the side of the bottle, rather than spraying it forcefully directly onto the powder. • Very Important: Do not shake the bottle vigorously! Vigorous shaking is a common cause of peptide gelation or foaming. You can gently tilt and rotate the bottle until the powder is completely dissolved. If a small amount of foam appears after dissolution, let it stand for a few minutes to subside.
4. Recommended Reconstitution Concentration:
* If you find it difficult to dissolve at the usual dosage, you can try increasing the amount of solvent (i.e., reducing the concentration), which usually also reduces the probability of gelation.
